These terms govern your use of the Protein One iOS application. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you are under 18, use Protein One with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

What Protein One is

Protein One is a protein tracking tool: a daily goal, a ring that shows your progress, quick-add favorites, a barcode scanner and an optional goal calculator. It works offline, requires no account, and stores your data on your device.

Not medical advice

Protein One is a tracking tool, not medical or dietary advice. Protein needs vary from person to person; the goal calculator offers common sports-nutrition estimates, not a prescription. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or follow a medically supervised diet, talk to a professional about your targets.

Nutrition values are estimates

The built-in food database contains typical per-100-gram values. Actual products vary by brand and preparation — for anything where precision matters, check the label of the product in your hand and prefer a custom entry with the label's numbers.

Subscriptions

The core of the app — the ring, logging, favorites, barcode scanner, calculator and widget — is free. Protein One+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription (weekly or yearly) that unlocks full history, weekly averages, streaks and goal periods. Payment is charged to your Apple account; the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings. Prices are shown in the app before any purchase. There is no free trial.

Acceptable use

Use Protein One for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not attempt to reverse engineer the app, extract its food database for redistribution, or use the app in violation of applicable law.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, its texts and its food database compilation are our property. Your own entries are yours.

Warranty and liability

Protein One is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
